"The music of these two concerts we called the "COSMOPOLY sessions”. It was our main project from about 2000 to 2002. The term COSMOPOLY was a kind of umbrella for many different formations, with guests from all cultures. It was a “celebration of our global language, music".
Part 1 starts with two solos of Abdullah Ibrahim and myself, followed by musical dialogues between the two of us.
In part 2 guests such as David Lindley and the AVAF band joins us…
